Library Resources

The University Library provides a comprehensive range of services to support students throughout their studies.

Quality of libraries and access to IT are amongst the top factors for prospective students choosing universities.

Northumbria is recognised as having some of the best learning resources and support in the sector. A recent   £6 million investment in facilities has created an exciting new learning environment tailored to the needs of today's students.

As well as this, the City Campus Library is currently home to the Newcastle City Libraries Patents Advice Centre. The Patents Advice Centre offers information and advice on all aspects of intellectual property: patents, trade marks, registered designs and copyright.  The service is open to anyone within the North East. Information and advice is free and, for those able to visit, free assistance in patent searching is provided.
