Building partnerships with business – both sides of the story

Thursday May 21st, 2009 Event Image

On the 21st May 2009, there will be a one day ABS event with business schools and employers talking about how they work together. The Keynote speaker is Miles Templeman, Director General of the Institute of Directors.

Knowledge exchange is now a fundamental part of business school and company strategy. Join us in the Executive Development Centre at Newcastle Business School to discuss the relationships between employers and their academic partners.

Three pairs of partnerships (one person from the company, one from the business school) will be giving frank accounts of what has worked for them.

The keynote address will be given at 2pm by Miles Templeman, Director General of the Institute of Directors, on the subject of 'What does business want from business schools?' with the final session as a question and answer with employers.

The event will run from 10am to 4pm and is open to people on both sides of the business / HE relationship
